The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 2,5 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.
Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.
Volunteers are the lifeblood for any foodbank and at Chiltern Foodbank we are blessed that we have a strong volunteer force that works tremendously hard to ensure that our stock management is excellent and that food parcels are delivered to clients at home when they need them.
We currently have no vacancies for our regular volunteer roles. But this may change as lockdown lifts and our services develop, so do look on this page again if you are interested in volunteering with us.
As we develop our services there will be other volunteer roles that we are looking to fill. Currently we are interested in someone with strong social media skills to manage our social media, and someone with corporate relationship experience to develop and maintain our corporate donor relationships. If this sounds like a fit for you then please get in touch. [email protected]
