We, like many foodbanks across the country, are bracing ourselves for winter.
From Thursday 30th November to Saturday 2nd December Chiltern Foodbank volunteers will be present at Tesco’s in Amersham for our annual Winter Collection.

Our volunteers will be situated at the store entrance, with lists of some of our most needed items. If you are in a position to obtain one or two items, we would be exceptionally grateful. These can then be handed to additional volunteers who are positioned after the check-out area.
No one in the Chiltern area should be facing hunger and we want to see an end to local people needing emergency food at all. While we work alongside other foodbanks in the Trussell Trust network to bring about long-term change to ensure everyone has enough money for the essentials, any donations of our most-needed items will be invaluable.
The generosity of Tesco’s and its customers, allows us to continue to offer vital support to families and children over the coming months, which will be particularly tough for many people in the local area. Thank you.
