The Trussell Trust Election Manifesto

More and more people are being forced to turn to Foodbanks. Between April 2023 and March 2024 in excess of 3.1 million food parcels were provided by Foodbanks in the Trussell Trust network.

This is the most parcels the network has ever distributed in a single year and nearly double the number compared to five years ago.

The next UK government has the power to fix this.

We support the Trussell Trust as they call on all political parties to prioritise ending the need for Foodbanks in their election manifesto.

The Trussell Trust has outlined its ten-point action plan, detailed below, that the next government must take to build a better future.
